How to Style a Curly Ponytail Follow
Everyone loves a great ponytail moment. There are so many different ways that you can style a ponytail, from quick & messy to sleek & elegant. But first, you’ve got to prep that pony! Just like your Bebonia curly hair extensions, the curly ponytail needs a little pre-wear love! Here’s how to wash and style your Bebonia curly drawstring ponytail:
Wash
1: Wet your curly ponytail with lukewarm water until completely saturated. Apply shampoo, then rinse
2: Apply conditioner to your hands and rake it through with your fingers from top to bottom, then rinse with cold water
Styling Method #1
1: Hold up your curly ponytail
2: Add lightweight, defining curl cream to your hands and rake it through the ponytail from top to bottom
3: Use a Denman brush to further distribute the product and help define the curls
4: Flip the ponytail over to add more volume to the top
5: Rake your fingers through the curls and scrunch
6: Diffuse for best results
Styling Method #2 (For Corkscrew Curls)
1: Lay your wet Bebonia curly ponytail on a flat surface
2: Apply a lightweight, hydrating cream by raking it through with your fingers from top to bottom
3: Brush the curls with a Denman brush
4: Use a quarter size amount of strong hold gel and rake it through the ponytail’s curls
5: Use your finger to separate the ponytail in half—this will make styling easier
6: Take small sections of the hair and, using a makeup brush approximately the same size as your natural curls, wrap the wet ends of the curls around the brush for added definition (tip: wrap the hair around itself, creating a barrel)
7: Smooth the ends in and slide the curl off the makeup brush (do NOT twist the hair)
8: Dry the ponytail by leaving it on the table and hover over it with a diffuser. Wait until the hair is fully dry before moving it
9: Once dry, the curls will be tightly coiled. Lightly spray the curls and rake your fingers through the curls to loosen the curls for a more natural look
