Do hair extensions tangle? Follow
Just like your natural hair - matting and tangling is normal for all types of hair extensions. Keep in mind, when human hair is constantly moving around it’s going to matt or ‘clump’ together in pieces.
Tangling occurs for a variety of reasons - including lack of combing, weather, or dryness. Some of the most common causes of tangles are sweat, heat, and friction. During the day, the nape of our neck and scalp become warm and sweaty. This sweat can dry out extensions.
Weather can also turn your extensions dry - especially if it’s hot out. But wind and humidity can also cause tangles (humidity will add a lot of moisture to the environment, causing hair to frizz up and tangle.) Learn how to prevent tangles here.
